Become a Certified Birth Wellness Specialist

This is for the pelvic floor therapy entrepreneur that wants to feel confident treating pregnant clients, provide birth wellness services, and grow their practice while doing so!

This certification is so much more than just continuing education! We kick things off with the 2-day, in-person retreat where you’ll learn clinical skills and the business strategy to make it a success.

Then you’ll have 3-months of mentorship in order to successfully implement your new program. After completing, you’ll earn your “Certified Birth Wellness Specialist” certification. Here's a list of what is included in regular ticket pricing:

• Receive a certificate showing your new Certified Birth Wellness Specialist status

Travel and accommodations are NOT included in the pricing. You will need to book a hotel and we have provided the nearest options above. Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is the closes airport and approximately 10 miles from the location. Some people have choosen to fly into Chicago and drive the additional hour with a rental car. The recommended hotel options are the closest options to our clinic location but transportation will still be needed, either by rental car, Uber or Lyft.

For regular pricing tickets and VIP package tickets, you have the option to pay in full or split it into 3 payments with our payment plan.

After completing the retreat, you’ll receive 3-months of mentorship with business guidance, clinical mentorship and implementation support. This is done during monthly online calls with Dr. Brenda. You’ll also have direct access to Dr. Brenda for additional questions and support during that time.

Yes, prior experience with pelvic floor therapy is highly recommended as you will be learning advanced techniques. Please do not take this certification if you have not completed at Pelvic Floor Level 1.

No, this program is designed for pelvic floor therapists at all levels and will give you all the knowledge and tools you’ll need to feel confident treating pregnant clients. We do require previous pelvic floor therapy experience though as you will learn advanced pelvic floor techniques.

Yes, you will learn several pelvic floor techniques that are performed intra-vaginally during lab sessions. Since these techniques are more advanced, we do not recommend this certification if you are brand new to pelvic floor therapy.

At this time, there is no option to do this certification completely virtually. We do require completion of a 2-day in-person retreat to master the advanced clinical skills necessary for this certification. However, the monthly calls afterwards are done virtually at scheduled times.

After you've completed registration, you will receive an email containing a form for you to fill out. In this form you can specify any dietary restrictions that you have so we can accommodate them for you to the best of our ability during the retreat.

Feel free to dress comfortably for the course and lab portion of the day. Also, please note that if you are coming to one of our retreats in the shoulder months, be prepared for colder weather. It is possible for us to still have snow in March and temperatures are around 40 degrees on average.
